Adolfo Valsecchi

Mr. Valsecchi has an engineering background. His professional life has been dedicated to the Seafood industry for more than 35 years. He ran the N° 2 Canned Seafood Business in Italy for more than 20 years and was an active member of several working groups in the EU Commission in Brussels. In 1996 he joined H.J. Heinz and in 1999 became Managing Director of the Heinz Seafood Business in Europe, today MWBrands.

Board Vice-Chairman 

Tin Shu (Roy) Chan

Born on 1st September 1973 ,  appointed as Group Board member by way of a shareholders’ resolution on 29th October 2010 for a time-period ending upon the adoption of the shareholders’ resolutions relating to the annual accounts for the financial year ending 31st December 2016.  Appointed as Board Vice-Chairman in in 2012.

Mr.Chan has been with Thai Union Group since 1995 and had held various position within the organization in the fields from foreign affairs to logistics to sales and marketing to senior management. During his 15 years with the company, he was involved in multiple projects that helped Thai Union grow to a multi-billion dollar company. He was actively involved in the Group's most recent acquisition of MW Brands.

Mr.Chan holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Southern California and a MBA degree from the Bangkok University.

 

General secretary

David Sankowicz

Mr. Sankowicz joined H.J. Heinz in May 2005 and is now acting as Group Legal Affairs & Insurance Manager within MWBrands. Prior to joining Heinz, Mr. Sankowicz worked in industry in France (SIDEL) as well as in a Direct Marketing company (Consodata) where he was in charge of the IPO. He began his career in a fashion company (Naf Naf – Chevignon). He is a graduate from Queen Mary and Westfield College, London University in European comparative law, has a master in Arbitration from Paris 2 University and his French bar certificate.

 

 

 

 

Group Finance Director 

Vincent Verfaillie

V. Verfaillie has been Group Finance Director since April 2012. From March 2008 till then, he was Group Finance Deputy Director.  He started his career in 1996 as Financial Controller at Louis Delhaize/Cora Group.  Then, he held several managing positions in Treasury and Financing,  in groups like Picard Frozen Foods, and AS Watson/Marionnaud.

Vincent Verfaillie is 39 and holds a degree in Management Science from Sorbonne University in Paris

 

 

 

 

Karen Rivoire

- Has over 20 years’ experience gained mostly within the FMCG. Her early career started in Sales and Marketing, firstly as Field Sales Trainee and Category Manager at Sony, then onto Guatemala for a year as Events Manager and micro-credit volunteer at F2 Publicidad. Upon her return to France she joined Carrefour as Brand Manager for a 5-year period. Then Karen made the decision to move into HR where she took up a position with Unilever. She remained there for 12 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility within the Human Resources functions in both France and the UK, eventually moving into the role of Global HR Director for the Savoury Division. Graduated from Reims Business School.

Amaury Dutreil

Mr. Dutreil joined MWBrands in May 2009. He began his career at Nestlé France where he held various sales and marketing positions. He spent 9 years at Campbell France where his last position was Key account Director then France marketing Director. Mr. Dutreil is a graduate from HEC School of Management. 

 

 

 

 

Managing Director John West Foods

Paul Reenan

Mr. Reenan is a graduate of Trinity College (Dublin) and has an associate MBA from the Open University (UK).  After an early career in Management Consulting, he has spent the last 16 years in the food industry.  He joined MW Brands in August 2010 from Northern Foods plc.  In his 12 years with Northern he held various positions including Business Sector Director, Group Consumer Innovations Director and Divisional Marketing Director.  He was also a member of the Northern Foods plc Executive. Prior to Northern he was Group Product Manager at Kraft Foods.

Anthony R. Lazazzara
He has more than 25 years’ experience in the seafood sector initially with Palmera ( Italy), Starkist ( USA). He joined in 1997 Heinz European Seafood, today MW Brands. Group Technical & Innovation Director

Alain Olivieri

Mr. Olivieri is the manufacturing director of MWBrands (responsible for Quality and R&D) since July 2009. Mr. Olivieri joined MWBrands in February 2007 acting as technical director also interim General Manager at IOT (Indian Ocean Tuna), our plant in Victoria, Seychelles. During his 29 years of Food industry experience prior to MWBrands he held several Manufacturing and R&D positions at UNIQ Plc, Mars Inc and Générale Sucrière within several European countries. Mr. Olivieri is a Mechanical Engineer from the INSA of Lyon and has a MBA from the University of Aix en Provence.
