Fleet

TTV Ltd., subsidiary of the group MWBrands, is a major stakeholder in tuna fishing in Ghana and was at the beginning of 1997 operating 10 tuna fishing vessels. Since 2008, the Company disposed of the non-profitable vessels and now operates 5 industrial tuna fishing vessels, all purse seiners.

The Company TTV Ltd catches around 26 500mt of fish annually and supplies the MWBrands plant in Ghana – Pioneer Food Cannery – with about 60% of its fish requirements.

 TTV Ltd is based in the fishing harbour of Tema. The Company has a small engineering workshop which provides prompt and efficient technical service to the fleet. It also has a warehouse next to the harbour for the safekeeping of all vessel equipment and spare parts.

 The total crew consists of approximately 180 experienced officers and sailors, some of them whom have experience of more than 20 years. The sea going crew is supported by a local management team of 30 people.

Drago
Built in Italy, it is the biggest purse seiner operating under the flag of Ghana.
 
80 m long and with a fish capacity of 1300 MT of round tuna, the Drago catches about 7000 tons per year.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Cap des Palmes
This vessel was purchased by the group in September 2008.
 
She is 55m long, with a fish capacity of 575MT of fish, and was built in France.
