NEWS September 2008: arrival of Jean-Luc Pardessus as Group Chief Operating Officer. Disposal of shares in Cobrecaf. Two new boats joining the fleet.

Arrival of Jean-Luc Pardessus as Group Chief Operating Officer:

Jean Luc’s mission is to manage operations for the Group and all its subsidiaries. Former Manager of the Campbell’s French subsidiary (Liebig and Royco soups, Lesieur condiments), Jean-Luc was previously responsible for Rambol (subsidiary of Bongrain, cheese manufacturer) and has held various responsibilities within the group Reckitt & Colman. Jean-Luc will chair the Executive Committee previously headed by Adolfo Valsecchi.

This appointment coincides with a change in the MWBrands Group operational structure where Adolfo Valsecchi will now focus on strategic aspects: external growth, group culture, image and quality as well as important external issues such as government and institution relations.

Disposal of shares in Cobrecaf (Compagnie Bretonne de Cargos Frigorifiques), a company specialising in all kinds of transport by land, sea and air, sea fishing, operation of all vessels, cargo handling in ports shipping, freight forwarding, warehousing, storage, loading of all goods.

 


Acquisition of two new ships that reinforce the fleet in the Atlantic Ocean: the "Cap des Palmes" and the "Cap Lopez".
